Trentham Monkey Forest is home to 140 free-ranging Barbary macaques. This unique idea began in 1969 with the first park in France, expanding to Germany in 1976, and finally to Trentham in 2005. Visitors can walk along a 3/4 mile pathway and observe these endangered monkeys living freely, just as they would in the wild!

Trentham Monkey Forest offers a perfect day out for all ages. You could enjoy hourly feeding talks, guided insights, the Banana Café, Jungle Shop and picnic areas. Seasonal attractions include the Meadow Walk, an interactive Conservation Centre, and a monkey-shaped willow maze.
